The Christian Education Ministry, in consultation with the pastors, oversees the conduct and promotion of all organized educational activities within the congregation. It encourages the use of teaching and worship materials published or approved by the ELCA and seeks to introduce the church's periodicals and books of family devotion into the homes of the congregation. This ministry recruits, equips and supports teachers, provides Sunday Church School for children and adults, Vacation Church School for children and Confirmation and First Communion instruction. It brings to the congregation's youth the call to the ministry of the Gospel and other full-time church vocations, and introduces the congregation's youth to church affiliated colleges and universities and encourages them to attend. It supports and promotes Bible Camp and Retreat activities.
